Her 03:29
My name echoes around myself My soul has gone around the sun My body, it remains right here My heart has sunken to the bottom of the sea And I don't wanna know what's left, for me! And I don't wanna find my place to be I don't wanna know my place to be No I don't wanna find the vOID in me And I can't recall when my hair was short And she drank herself to death Now she's lying on the floor! Now she left the school where her friends were at And she left a promising career, and a baseball hat And she left her fake ID and her keys next to the lighter She used to smoke some weed And she only smoked socially (so she claimed) But I know, and I scoffed at that lie I could see from a mile away! And I know, well I hope! she's okay But who knows? She'll be back? She's never coming back again And I know she will return to me And I know her hair is short & see-thru and I know that I don't really know what she's gone thru But I know What's she doing Ain't the way To solve it...

about

I first recorded "Her" on my phone while writing songs for my debut EP, "Angst All Over!", about a year ago to the day, but I decided against using it. I revisited the song over spring break with my electric guitar, recording on my phone again, and it seemed more fitting since it had had time to grow on me. Now I've decided to release both to the world, I hope you like at least one, or both.
